In light of the rise of the streamers’ era, we have decided to compile a list of the 10 most-followed streamers in the world. As you will see, there is a significant presence of Spanish content creators among them.
To prepare this ranking, we have used data as of July 30, 2025 from the platform Socialblade. In this article, you will find the percentage variation in each streamer’s number of followers, compared to February of the same year. This is because, following the recent ascendancy of Ibai to the throne of streamers, we sought to provide a second update of the ranking during 2025.
And now, let us analyze this Twitch streamer ranking.
At the conclusion of La Velada del Año V, on July 26, Ibai Llanos, known simply as Ibai, had reached 19,687,595 followers, thereby becoming the most-followed streamer on Twitch. During this event, the streamer also broke the platform’s record for most-viewed live broadcast by registering 9.33 million concurrently connected devices.
In February 2025, Ibai held the second position in this ranking with 17.2 million Twitch followers, a figure that now stands at 19.8 million (an increase of 15.09%).
The streamer has succeeded in securing significant influence within the world of esports. He currently has his own esports team; he has created a new seven-a-side football competition, based on rules distinct from traditional ones and featuring both men’s and women’s teams; and he has interviewed major public figures from the world of sports, the music industry, and even the esports sector itself.
Richard Tyler Blevins, known digitally as Ninja, is an American gamer who, as of August 2019, became the platform’s most-followed user with more than 14 million followers that year.
The streamer managed to remain at the top until now, when he has been moved to a still-impressive second position. Currently, he has surpassed 19.2 million followers, experiencing growth of 0.03% with respect to the February 2025 ranking.
The majority of his streams are centered on playing Fortnite.
In February of this year, Kai Cenat made his debut in our top 10, propelled by an extraordinary increase of 85.57% in his follower count compared to January 2024. Now, he moves up from fourth to third place after reaching 18.56 million followers (+13.92%).
Kai Cenat began his journey on social media in 2017, creating short sketches, vines, and comedic videos. Today, he commands a huge following across various platforms, with particular prominence on Twitch. His live broadcasts have featured celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, and Kai has collaborated with renowned brands, being the first streamer to sign with Nike.
Dropping one position, we find Raúl Álvarez Genes, better known as AuronPlay. This widely known streamer has more than 16.8 million followers (a 0.77% growth compared to February 2025) on Twitch. He is also among the most-followed Spanish YouTubers.
This success is due to his focus on video game content, coupled with his satirical, critical, and sarcastic commentary. His videos have become viral memes on multiple occasions, and he always strives to blend humor with his gaming content.
It could be said that Rubius, whose name is Rubén Doblas Gundersen, is a pioneer in the world of content creation, as he was among the first to rise to fame both nationally and internationally. In fact, he is recognized as a reference in the world of gaming content creation. Furthermore, when it comes to live streaming on Twitch, he was also among the first to embrace the platform, alongside other prominent Spanish streamers such as Illojuan.
Rubius achieved success thanks to his fresh and humorous approach, which broke away from the conventional gamer videos typically found on YouTube—where most creators would simply discuss the main features of various games. This edition, he maintains his position on our list, and his followers continue to grow, now totaling 15.79 million.
TheGrefg began his career as a content creator in 2012, at just 15 years of age, with videos centered on Modern Warfare 3. He now holds steady as Twitch’s sixth most-followed streamer (12.2 million).
He set a Guinness World Record for most concurrent viewers during a Twitch stream, with 2,468,668 viewers, the day he launched his own Fortnite skin. He generally produces a variety of content, but is particularly well known within the community for his association with this battle royale video game.
Félix Lengyel holds the seventh position on the list, increasing his follower count by 0.52%, reaching nearly 12.1 million. This French-Canadian streamer first attained widespread popularity through Overwatch. He no longer competes professionally and, in early 2022, his involvement in a Reddit social experiment—where registered users each painted a single pixel in an artwork—drew considerable attention.
He is well known among both English- and Spanish-speaking communities, due in part to his “rivalry” with Rubius. They have had live conversations on numerous occasions and frequently joke about who is the superior streamer. On occasion, they have even mentioned—humorously—facing each other at La Velada del Año, Ibai’s event.
Remaining firmly in eighth place and with a modest increase in followers of 0.49%, is Juan Sebastián Guarnizo, a Colombian known as Juansguarnizo on Twitch. He is a graphic designer, sharing his artwork on the platform, but also streams video game-related content. At times, he has encountered controversy due to his forthright nature when responding to negative comments during his streams. He currently has a total of 11.55 million followers.
Turnet Ellis Tenney, known as Tfue and of American nationality, is a professional gamer specializing in Fortnite Battle Royale. This time he has once again lost followers, declining from 11.32 million in February 2025 to 11.29 million in July.
The Polish-Canadian streamer Michael Grzesiek, known as Shroud, produces gaming content of all types, but his skills and gameplay in Minecraft, Apex Legends, Battalion 1944, and Fortnite have particularly captured the audience’s attention. He has also gained broad recognition due to his remarkable results in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He has 11.12 million followers on Twitch.
In recent years, with the evolution of social networks, we have witnessed the advent of the streamer era—a term used to identify gamer influencers who broadcast themselves in real time, commenting on their gameplay to other users connected to the same platform at that moment. Of course, many simply perform live sessions “chatting” with their communities.
Today, they represent an increasingly influential figure for brands, as they generate considerable sway among their viewers. As you can see, this ranking features a significant number of Spanish-speaking streamers, a group that continues to grow. How far will they go in the coming years?
