Freepik now integrates Veo 2, Google’s AI for creating videos “with unparalleled realism”

Freepik has just announced the integration of Veo 2, the advanced video generation model from Google DeepMind, into its AI Video Generator tool. This collaboration between the two companies positions Freepik as one of the first platforms to offer this technology, even before Google itself.

The tool is only available to Premium+ users, who currently account for over 100 million accounts. Freepik announced this on its X account: “Veo 2 is now here, first worldwide on Freepik. Google partners with us to introduce the most advanced artificial intelligence video model. Unmatched realism, precision, and fluid animations. Hurry up! The first 10,000 users will receive 2 free generations.”

What is Veo 2

Veo 2 is a generative AI model developed by Google DeepMind that allows for transforming text into high-quality dynamic videos. It creates content in resolutions of up to 4K and significantly outperforms other models in terms of detail, realism, precision of motion, and quality of animations.

Among the main features of Veo 2 are:
